1. Introduction
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between RAKTRIP and any person (hereinafter “the customer”) wishing to book an excursion or tour via our website. By booking an excursion or tour, the customer unreservedly accepts these terms and conditions.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 Booking process
Reservations can be made online via our website, by telephone or by email. Once the booking request has been received, we will confirm availability and send a booking confirmation by email.
2.2 Payment methods
Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer or any other payment method accepted on our website. A deposit of 20% of the total amount is required to confirm the booking. The balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the departure date.
2.3 Booking confirmation
The reservation is considered confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. The customer will receive an email confirmation with full details of the excursion or tour booked.
3. Prices
3.1 Prices
Excursion and tour prices are quoted in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) and include all applicable taxes. Prices include the services mentioned in the description of each excursion or tour.
3.2 Price revisions
We reserve the right to change prices at any time prior to booking confirmation. Once the booking has been confirmed, the price is guaranteed and will not be changed.
4. Cancellation and Modification
4.1 Cancellation by the customer
All cancellations must be notified in writing (email). Cancellation charges are calculated as follows:
More than 30 days before departure date: 100% refund of deposit.
Between 30 and 15 days before departure date: refund of 50% of deposit.
Less than 15 days before departure date: no refund of deposit.
4.2 Customer modification
Any request to modify the booking (dates, number of participants, etc.) must be notified in writing. We will do our best to accommodate the request, subject to availability. Modification fees may apply.
4.3 Cancellation or Modification by the Company
In the event of force majeure or if the minimum number of participants required is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel or modify the excursion or tour. The customer will be informed as soon as possible and will have the choice between another date, another tour or a full refund of the sums paid.
5. Responsibilities
5.1 Responsibility of the Company
We undertake to provide the services as described in the booking confirmation. However, we cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure, strikes, climatic incidents or any other event beyond our control.
5.2 Customer responsibility
The customer must respect the safety instructions and comply with the guide’s instructions. Any activity that is dangerous or does not comply with instructions may result in exclusion from the tour without refund.
6. Insurance
The customer is required to take out travel insurance covering the risks of cancellation, accident, illness, and loss or theft of luggage. We strongly recommend that you check your insurance cover before departure.
7. Complaints
All complaints relating to an excursion or tour must be made in writing within 30 days of the end of the tour. We undertake to deal with the complaint as quickly as possible and to seek an amicable solution.
8. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These GCS are governed by Moroccan law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before resorting to the competent courts of Marrakech.
9. Acceptance of the GCS
By booking an excursion or tour with RAKTRIP, the customer acknowledges that he/she has read these GTC and accepts them unreservedly.
